Industry Work Experience

INTERNSHIP

Pillar and Peacock Interiors

Assistant Junior Designer

OCTOBER 2019 - AUGUST 2020

Overview

During my time submersed in the work environment I gained experience in countless areas of the design industry. I was known for my constant organization and people skills. I was often found maintaining the office and communicating between designers, vendors, and clients to ensure deadlines were met and projects ran smoothly. I also was the main source of communication between the three office sites. I quickly took on more responsibility by making selections, writing purchase orders, assisting with hands on installs, and taking on small projects for the office as head stylist. Along with my course work, this internship prepared me remarkably for the design industry.
